Zero Waste JerZ Compost Workshop
WORKSHOP MODULE 1: Zero Waste Jerz. Stop Food Waste Now.
Participants learn about regenerative and organic land care management. They test indoor home composting machines, learn how to build a backyard composting/leaf corral, and learn about products that can support them transitioning to zero waste! The workshop is hands on and interactive.

Non-Toxic - Going Green and Clean Workshop
WORKSHOP MODULES - Non-Toxic NJ, Be Green, Be Clean.
Participants have an opportunity to attend several interactive presentations on the hazards of toxins which are now ubiquitous in our environment.
Learn About:
Ingredients in your household products, cleaners underneath your sink, in the basement, and garage. The pesticides on your food. How farms, and factories in your local area deal with pesticides. The safeguards used to protect your water, soil, air and your children.
What control do you have?
What can you do to mitigate and reduce the harm?
The workshops are hands on and interactive.
Module 1: Keeping It Clean. Each individual has their own idea of what constitutes clean. In this module we will teach you how to clean SAFELY. We will go over labels and warning signs on household products, discuss the difference between disinfectants and cleaners and review cleaning products that can cause endocrine disruption.
**Participants get to make two clean DIY cleaners.

WORKSHOP 2: Organic Land Care. Participants attend a presentation on organic land care management and the benefits of eating organic. Take a deep dive into how toxins affect our food and the produce we consume. Participants will learn:
Why organic landcare is critical.
Organic practices to promote healthy soil and enhance diversity
How to reduce polluted runoff and non-source pollution.
The workshop proposes that maintaining farms, parks, and playgrounds organically, supports better, healthy living for humans and our planet.

Plastics and Recycling, the Myths vs. Reality Workshop
WORKSHOP MODULE 1: Plastic = TRASH. Refuse Plastic.
Participants learn at the dangers of plastic to our human bodies and our environment. We go over the myth of recycling, the current process of recycling in NJ and examples of alternatives to allow participants to REFUSE plastics. There’s also a review of the history of the legislation of plastics in NJ.

Green living
WORKSHOP MODULE 1: Green Living
This class focuses on teaching individuals how to reduce their environmental impact by consuming less, and making eco-friendly choices. The course covers topics like minimizing waste, conserving energy and water, choosing sustainable high quality products, and adopting practices that reduce carbon footprints. Students learn practical tips on reducing consumption that leader to a more green life. The aim is to empower participants to live a more sustainable, low-impact lifestyle that benefits both the planet and future generations.
Participants can also explore a one on one session with our Founder, Bainy Suri. Bainy can help participants select home furnishings, replace items and organize your life!
